- Resident students remain under the care of the Student Health Center and will be deemed clear to return to campus activities by a clinical professional.
- Once deemed cleared to return to campus activities, the COVID-19 Registry will send an email notification that you should forward to your instructor(s) as verification you’ve been cleared to return to class.

- Effective Jan. 2023, students requesting absence verification for COVID-19 positive results must provide official medical documentation from a provider noting their positive test results and any additional dates they are to remain out of classes to the Office of Student Assistance and Support Services (SASS). At-home tests will not be accepted as supporting documentation.

Employees
After recovering, you must complete one Niner Health Check indicating “all clear” status. You are no longer required to email benefits@uncc.edu. You should continue to be in constant contact with your supervisor about your return date.
